Buying and deciding
Art Placement: seeing the decision first
You cannot picture how a two metre object in corten steel sits next to your pool. Nobody can. So we show you.
How it works
-
An appointment at your place
Usually in the late afternoon, because that light shows what the evening will look like. We walk the plot, watching the paths you take every day, the sightline from the dining table, and the spot where you drink your coffee in the morning.
-
Photographing the positions
We photograph the possible positions, with a tape measure and a reference in the frame, so that the montage comes out true to scale.
-
Montages, two or three days later
Three to five works at your positions, true to scale, in your own light. With dimensions, material, weight and price band.
What it costs
The initial consultation at your property is an opportunity for us to get to know each other personally and to discuss the possibilities available to you.
This first consultation is complimentary.
If, during the meeting, you decide that you would like to explore a wider selection of works and see specific suggestions for how different sculptures could look and feel on your property, we offer a more detailed visual consultation. This includes half a day of our time on site, together with the subsequent image editing and visualisation work. The fee for this service is €300 and will be fully credited towards the purchase of a sculpture.
Why We Visit and Photograph Every Property
Professionally photographed, almost any work of art can look impressive. The setting, however, is what makes the difference: the particular area of the garden, the background, the interplay of sunlight and shade, and the proportions of the sculpture in relation to its surroundings.
For these reasons, we personally visit and photograph every property before making our recommendations. This allows us to assess not only which sculptures appeal to you, but which works will truly work in your particular setting.

Whether the access will take the later transport is checked at the same appointment. See Transport to fincas and hillside plots.
The appointment is the simplest way to find out whether this is for you at all.
